Carlo Parente Architecture Inc. is an emerging research-based design practice based in Toronto, founded by architect and educator Carlo Parente. The firm specializes in architecture, interiors, and urban design, with a focus on exploring and integrating oppositional forces such as old versus new, rural versus urban, and public versus private into their work.

Carlo Parente Architecture approaches each project as a vehicle to express ideas and theories, deepening their engagement with these opposing forces and finding connections between design, human experience, materials, place, and time. The firm’s work is guided by a holistic approach that integrates performance-based design, new technologies, theory, and culture, with a strong focus on community engagement.
