Elham Jamshidi is an experienced litigation attorney with expertise in criminal law. She received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from York University in 2000, majoring in psychology. She started working at the law firm of Hinkson Sachak McLeod as a law student in the same year. She received her L.L.B. from Queen’s University in 2003 and articled with Hinkson Sachak McLeod. Elham was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004.

Elham represents individuals from all backgrounds charged with various criminal offences, such as murder, sexual assault, robbery, guns and gangs, fraud, and drug offences. She believes in a well-prepared and aggressive defence of the accused person’s rights. Elham has appeared as an advocate in hundreds of criminal matters, including several reported cases.

Apart from her legal work, Elham has served as a mentor to lawyers, law students, and high school students regarding advocacy and criminal law. She has served as a judge for mock trials and as an articling principal. She volunteers her time to assist local impoverished youth.

Elham is a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association and fluent in Farsi. She is proud to provide dedicated, energetic representation for each and every one of her clients.
