We are known for our creativity, open approach, and authentic response to each project, leading to ideal project designs and advancements in building types and construction technologies. Our collaborative and consensus-building process actively engages clients in the design process.

Our work has been regularly published nationally and internationally, and we have won numerous awards, including the prestigious Governor General’s Award, Ontario Association of Architects Awards of Excellence, Award for Outstanding Contribution to the City of Toronto, Award for Best Institutional Masonry Building in the GTA, and other Civic and Industry Awards.

We have a sterling record in consistently delivering well-constructed, value-designed buildings and environments that are free of technical failures and provide maximum functionality.

As architects, we are inspired by the vast range of imaginative possibilities, forms, materials, and technologies that the construction industry provides to respond to diverse user requirements, building programs, cultural variations, environments, and sites worldwide. We view each project as unique and deserving of an authentic, project-specific design approach, accompanied by rigorous research in building technology and construction detailing.

We have been committed to sustainability in building design for over 30 years, exploring and implementing ‘green’ and eco-friendly design ideas for both interiors and base building forms. Our architecture aims to minimize the use of natural resources, toxic materials, and emissions of waste and pollutants over the life cycle of a building, while ensuring cost-effectiveness within capital cost parameters. Our Ontario Hydro Building in Hockley Valley, featured on the cover of Canadian Architect, was a landmark sustainable building in Canada, showcasing our dedication to sustainable design practices.
