Kaitlyn is a dedicated lawyer whose focus is on personal injury litigation, long-term disability claims, and insurance litigation. She has a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and financial impact of serious personal injuries, as she has personally experienced the effects of brain injury when her father was diagnosed with one after a serious assault.
Kaitlyn’s personal experience drives her to be an effective advocate for her clients and to protect their rights. She represents her clients in court, on motions, trials, and appeals before courts and administrative tribunals. In addition, Kaitlyn is committed to improving the legal system’s responsiveness to vulnerable plaintiffs, and she was recently awarded the prestigious Martin Wunder, Q.C. Outstanding New Lawyer Award by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) for her active commitment to this cause.
Kaitlyn is also involved in her community, serving as the President of the Brain Injury Association – Peterborough Region (BIAPR) and as the editor-in-chief of the Long-Term Disability Section of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association newsletter. Additionally, she has published articles on court practices.
