Annie has extensive experience in handling complex family law cases involving addiction, children with special needs, spouses with personality disorders, and other challenging life circumstances. In addition to her legal expertise, Annie is actively involved in the family law community. She serves as the Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Family Law Section and has previously served on the family law executive in various capacities for six years. Annie has also chaired numerous continuing legal education programs, including the Ontario Bar Association’s Family Law Institute, and lectures to lawyers, law clerks, and students on various family law issues. She has contributed to legal publications such as Lexis Practice Advisor and continues to support initiatives that improve access to justice in family law.
