Kevin Yip is an accomplished tax lawyer with extensive experience in domestic and international tax planning, corporate reorganizations, and mergers and acquisitions. He specializes in transfer pricing, corporate financing, executive compensation plans, and real estate transactions, and offers comprehensive tax planning advice to high-net-worth families, investment funds, banks, insurance companies, technology companies, charities, and non-profit organizations.

In addition to advising clients on cross-border transactions, Kevin has a wealth of experience representing taxpayers in tax audit matters and disputes with both the Canadian Revenue Agency and provincial taxation authorities. He has also acted for clients on tax litigation and administrative law matters, representing taxpayers in proceedings at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Kevin earned his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an undergraduate engineering degree in Computer Science from Princeton University. Prior to entering the legal profession, Kevin worked as a quantitative research associate in the fixed income and foreign exchange desk of a hedge fund in the United States. He is also a designated Derivatives Market Specialist by the Canadian Securities Institute and completed the Canadian Securities Course in 1999.
