Maureen is a litigation lawyer with a broad practice that covers various areas of law, including commercial litigation, competition law litigation, property disputes, employment disputes, medical malpractice, and personal injury litigation. She has extensive experience representing clients in court, as well as in mediations, arbitrations, and before various tribunals. Maureen is known for her expertise in injunction proceedings and has both written and spoken at conferences on Mareva injunctions. She has also been appointed by the Superior Court of Justice as an independent supervising solicitor where an injunctive relief has been granted by the court. While Maureen is a seasoned litigator, she takes a practical and solution-focused approach to her clients’ disputes. Maureen graduated with honors from St. Francis Xavier University, where she was the valedictorian of her class. She received her law degree from the University of Toronto and the Sorbonne. Maureen is a member of the Advocates’ Society and the Ontario Bar Association.
