As a highly experienced and accomplished architect, I, Mehdi Marzyari, have had a diverse and successful career in the field of architecture. Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, I obtained my Master of Architecture from Shahid Beheshti University (Melli) in 2001. After gaining valuable experience and expertise through collaborations with renowned architectural firms in Tehran, I co-founded Zavieh Architecture Office in 2004. Despite its short existence, Zavieh Architecture Office quickly gained recognition and awards for its innovative and creative designs, establishing itself as a young and emerging practice in Iran.

In 2008, I made Toronto, Canada my new home with the aim of expanding my professional experience. I had the opportunity to work with acclaimed Toronto-based architectural firms such as Montgomery Sisam Architects and CS&P Architects, where I made significant contributions to various projects ranging from school renovations to large hospital and high-rise condominium designs. This allowed me to further develop my skills and expertise in the Canadian architectural industry.

In late 2013, I established my own architecture practice, Mehdi Marzyari Architects (Me-Mar), building on my extensive experience and knowledge. Me-Mar was born out of a heritage dwelling extensive alteration commission in downtown Toronto, which I saw as an exceptional opportunity to embark on a new journey. Since then, Me-Mar has been involved in a wide range of projects, including small house renovations, multi-unit residential and commercial buildings, each approached with a unique and thoughtful design response.

As a registered architect in both Canada and Iran, a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the Toronto Society of Architects, and a LEED Accredited Professional, I am committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, innovation, and sustainability in my practice. I bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and dedication to each project, striving to create exceptional architectural designs that meet the unique needs and aspirations of my clients.
