We are a key member of Sunnybrook’s Schulich Heart Program, providing leadership in the management and care of patients with cardiac and vascular diseases, focusing on coordinated and integrated cardiovascular services; interventional cardiac procedures, acute coronary syndromes, women’s cardiovascular health and ambulatory care.
Our expertise includes interventional cardiac procedures, such as angioplasty and stenting, to treat blocked arteries and restore blood flow to the heart. We also specialize in managing acute coronary syndromes, which are serious and potentially life-threatening conditions such as heart attacks, and provide timely and effective care to patients experiencing these conditions.
In addition, we recognize the importance of women’s cardiovascular health, as heart disease can often present differently in women compared to men. We provide specialized care for women with cardiovascular diseases, tailored to their unique needs and risk factors.
We also offer ambulatory care services, which focus on providing outpatient care for patients with cardiac and vascular conditions. Our ambulatory care services may include diagnostic testing, monitoring, and ongoing management of chronic cardiovascular conditions, as well as patient education and support.
As a key member of Sunnybrook’s Schulich Heart Program, we are committed to advancing the field of cardiovascular care through research, education, and innovation. We strive to continuously improve our services and outcomes for our patients, and to contribute to the advancement of cardiovascular care locally, nationally, and internationally.
