Sanja Mavrak has always had a passion for helping people and protecting their fundamental human rights, which led her to pursue a career in law. She takes pride in fighting for individuals’ rights and freedoms, and providing guidance and support to her clients during the stressful legal process.
Sanja Mavrak earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Western Ontario, where she began her legal work. She later obtained her Juris Doctor degree in Australia and returned to Canada to complete her articles at a small firm specializing in civil litigation and criminal law. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014.
Throughout her legal studies, Ms. Mavrak has volunteered with various organizations, including Lawyers Feed the Hungry and The Association in Defence of the Wrongly Convicted.
Ms. Mavrak practices in the areas of Civil Litigation and Criminal Law, and she is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Legal Aid Ontario, and the Criminal Lawyers Association. She takes pride in her problem-solving skills and commitment to meeting her clients’ needs.
